A neuropsychological evaluation is a reliable method for obtaining information about an individual’s current cognitive and emotional functioning. This information can be used for diagnosis, treatment planning, and educational/vocational planning.
Pediatric Neuropsychological Evaluations
Children with a wide range of medical, neurological, behavioural, learning, and mental health issues can benefit from a thorough evaluation of their strengths and weaknesses. These evaluations include all elements of a psychoeducational assessment, plus more, tailored to each child’s needs.
Medicolegal Services
Services offered include neuropsychological and psychological IME’s for personal injury cases, long-term disability claims, WorkSafeBC claims, medical malpractice cases, employee evaluations, VAC/RCMP/CAF evaluations, competency evaluations, record reviews and rebuttal reports, and cross-exam preparation.

Concussion Management
A concussion is a mild brain injury which can lead to a range of uncomfortable – though temporary – symptoms. At North Shore Neuropsychology we can provide guidance in the early stages following a concussion and direction for those who are not recovering as quickly as expected.
Services available for ages 3 to 90+
North Shore Memory Clinic services are as follows:
- Brief evaluation – 2 to 2.5 hours of testing, plus brief report and feedback session ($895)
- Standard evaluation – 4 hours of testing, plus report and feedback session ($1895)
- Comprehensive evaluation – 6-7 hours of testing, plus report and feedback session ($3495)
Concussion Management services are as follows:
- In-person consultation and educational session – Approximately 90 minutes, plus brief report ($895)
- Concussion Clinic Evaluation – Consultation, 2 hours of formal testing, plus report and feedback session ($1895)
Most subsequent phone or email consultations are considered part of the service, but requests for letters or other correspondence, unusually lengthy phone calls (e.g., longer than 15 minutes) or followup appointments will be billed at $235/hour, billed to the nearest ¼ hour. You will be notified before any charges are billed for these additional services.
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation services are as follows:
- Comprehensive evaluation – 6-7 hours of testing, plus report and feedback session ($3495)
- Complex clinical evaluations – 10+ hours of testing (across 1½ days), plus report and feedback session ($200/hr to a maximum of $4500). A complex evaluation would be one for which the person requires an unusually extensive evaluation as a result of his or her particular circumstances. This would be discussed at the time of booking the appointment or as soon as possible after the complicating circumstances are recognized. An example might be a young person who requires full academic testing, vocational interest testing, and psychological assessment, in addition to standard cognitive testing.

Medicolegal Services / Forensic Evaluations
All services performed in a forensic or medicolegal context will be billed at $350/hour ($400/hour for testimony and trial prep), unless otherwise agreed to at the time the services are contracted. North Shore Neuropsychology is part of the WorkSafe BC Provider Network.
